Description & Inspiration
Part of the Utopia series, Linear (2022) depicts a character walking out of a world made of gold, into a portal leading to the unknown. The gold symbolises the character living in a world where she has everything she needs to be happy. The green in the portal represents the feeling that the grass may always foolishly be greener elsewhere. We only realise what we had when it’s gone.
