Description & Inspiration
Metamorphosis (2022) is an abstract artwork, made from acrylics and spray paints, featuring the transitioning of a mer-creature into a human, following its wish to live on land rather than in the ocean, to escape the deterioration of its natural habitat. Little does this mer-creature know that life on land is also threatened environmentally, but the grass always seems greener elsewhere. This artwork was painted over another artwork, giving way to interesting textures.
